Everyone was dumbfounded to hear Yohan casually stated that one of the grand elders was dead. The five grand elders present there freaked out upon learning of their partner’s demise, all of them looking at Yohan in horror. Not even in their wildest dreams did they think Yohan would go to this length; he was indeed determined to exterminate all of them, including the factions they governed.
Now that things had come to this, all of them feared they were the next victim of his cruelty. There would be no trial whatsoever; they were completely at his mercy. He was the one who decided whether they lives or die.
Elder Song and Genelia simply stood there, also wanting to know what he was going to do with these elders. If he wanted to kill them, he could have easily done so long ago; there was no point in leaving them alive up until this moment.
"You killed the treasury faction elder!" one of the elders couldn’t control himself,he shouted at top of his lungs looking at Yohan as if he were some kind of monster.
"Shut up..." In an instant, Aana slapped the old man.
"Who told you to speak? Do you also want to die?" Aana added. The elder gasped, feeling a death stare coming from Aana. Yohan simply sighed, as he did not want this old man to die before interrogating him, knowing Aana’s personality she will definitely going to kill this old man if he says anything more.
"Let him be. I still need some answers from these guys,so just give him some slack!" Yohan looked at Aana and told her not to kill the guy. The other elders could only swallow nervously upon hearing Yohan.
"Moreover, that old man committed suicide. I didn’t kill him; he knew I was coming for him,so he decided to take his own life!" Yohan added, revealing he hadn’t killed the last elder, confronting his partners,he doesn’t care about others who were presented there.
"What do you want to do with these guys, young master?" At this moment, Lucine finally spoke. Everyone looked at Yohan, as they also wanted to know what he intended to do with these old men.
"I just want some answers, that’s all!" Yohan calmly stated, signaling Lucine and the others to bring these guys to the clan’s barracks where the criminals get interrogated. The faces of the grand elders turned dark, knowing they were going to be interrogated—more like going through some hellish torture.
"Young master Yohan, can I come with you?" At this very moment Elder Song asked, wanting to be by Yohan’s side. Yohan simply looked at Elder Song, and after giving it some thought, he nodded his head. Having received Yohan’s permission,Elder song immediately turned to his daughter and asked her to head home.
Genelia felt disappointed, as she did not want to leave and wished to stay longer inside the clan. Seeing the conflicted look on her face, Yohan let out a sigh.
"You can stay here if you want!" Yohan said. Genelia’s face immediately beamed upon hearing Yohan.
Yohan then turned to Kana and asked her to bring both Elaine and Genelia to her mother’s manor, instructing them to stay there along with the others while he dealt with these grand elders, technically he did not want to involve kana knowing her personality,on the other hand he needed Aana and Athena by his side.
Kana immediately nodded her head in response and then signaled both Elaine and Genelia to follow her to the matriarch’s manor down below. Elaine simply looked at Yohan, wondering if it was alright to meet his mother, as she was only here to observe Yohan and had nothing to do with his family.
’Don’t worry, I am not going anywhere without you. I remember my side of the deal, so just relax and enjoy my mother’s company for a while,’ Yohan used his spiritual senses to talk with Elaine.
’I understand...’ she immediately responded, and the next moment, she threw the old man in Yohan’s direction. Yohan simply grabbed the old man, maintaining his gaze with Elaine’s,the old man gasped feeling yohan’s hand on his neck.
Athena, Kana, and Aana looked at Yohan differently, curious to know what kind of relationship he shared with this woman. Nevertheless, this was not the time to ask him about the origin of this mysterious lady. Elder Song immediately moved by kana’s side grabbed the old man that Kana was holding; after handing that old man to Elder Song, she immediately left the place, followed by Genelia and Elaine toward the matriarch’s manor.
Once the three of them left, Yohan signaled the rest to follow to the clan’s barracks. Sometime later, Yohan appeared in front of the building, where a couple of guards were stationed.
Athena and Aana, followed by Lucine and Elder Song, descended to the ground. The moment the guards saw Yohan and the figures accompanying him, they immediately bowed their heads with dark expressions on their faces. They instantly recognized the five elders in the grasp of Yohan and the figures who were following him from behind.
At this very moment, an old man came running out of the building, a nervous look upon his face.
"Young master Yohan... is there anything you want?" the old man whispered, looking in Yohan’s direction. He also noticed the figures following Yohan; among them were Aana, one of the Lady Evelyn’s disciples, and Elder Song, both of whom were quite famous inside River Shore City. Apart from those two, the old man did not recognize Athena and Lucine, whom he had never met before but he knew they were not simple, especially Athena.
"I need a quiet place..." Yohan responded, without giving any explanation to the warden of this facility. The old man gulped nervously, seeing the faces of the grand elders, and then he looked back at Yohan.
"Follow me, young master!"
Sometime later, the old man brought Yohan and the others to the underground facility of the building, leading them inside one of the barracks, which was quite large and could easily fit more than twenty people.
"Young master, is there anything else you need?" the old man hesitantly asked Yohan, wondering if he required anything else. Yohan turned silent for a moment, suddenly remembering something.
"Do you have the equipment inside this place that is used to record one’s confessions?" Yohan asked, remembering there were tools in this world capable of recording things,they are widely used inside these facilities to record the confessions of criminals.
The old man immediately understood what he meant, and the next moment, he took out a black orb of his spatial ring and handed it to Yohan. The moment Yohan grabbed the fist-sized black orb,a notification rang out in his head.
