"Arthur... You have changed a lot since the moment I met you." The Doll scanned Arthur from top to bottom.

The skinny young boy was no skinny anymore. Muscles spurred under his skin. The power of Awaken Adrenaline coursed through his veins.

Arthur scratched his blonde head. "I hope I changed for the better."

"You surely are." The gray-haired swordsman nodded.

"I am so glad that Caine was able to save you, Zeneros." Arthur sighed deeply.

"Please. I didn’t do anything. You guys saved him." Carter said.

"Us?"

Carter nodded, "The faith of this world. He was drifting in the multiverse out there and forgot who he was. But the faith of the people brought him back to his senses. You must know about the statue incident, right?"

Arthur nodded.

The statue of Zeneros came to life and donned on his Raven Armor. It changed forever. People were worshiping it now.

"But that isn’t what matters right now. Sit, Arthur. We need to talk?"

Arthur sat down with worry on his face. "Did I do something wrong?"

The black swords man chuckled and patted Arthur’s shoulder, "You didn’t do anything wrong. In the opposite, you did something right. You managed to reach Awaken level without the help of the Heart Race Potion. That is a feat."

Arthur couldn’t contain his innocent smile.

"Frankenstein would like a sample of your blood if that’s alright." Carter said.

Arthur didn’t think twice and rolled his sleeves up. "Of course."

"You don’t even think about asking why?" The black swordsman said.

"You want my blood so that you can figure out why I awakened, right? So that we can become stronger and fend off invader once the World Barrier goes down."

Carter smiled faintly. "That’s right. You really are quick."

Primer. Prime World. World Barrier. Those information wasn’t a secret anymore. Hiding them would only cause more harm.

So throughout the year that Carter was gone, the leaders of Hexilia had slowly introducing these concepts to the people, preparing them for any conflicts in the future.

Because Eldritch Arms went on the Exquisitor Leaderboard, the citizens of Hexilia had also officially became Prime Citizens. They could become a Primer, access the Prime System and bought their way out of Eldritch Arms if they had enough Prime Coins.

Carter, with the World Key in his hands, could decide when the Prime System would fall into Hexilia and expose its citizens to the culture of the multiverse.

’This world is still very weak at the moment. We could reliably make Superhuman at Awaken Rank. But Awaken is purely the first step of the supernatural path. If this world wants to have a fair chance in the multiverse, I need to at least reliably make Elite beings.’ Carter thought to himself.

And he thought that Arthur Drake would be the key to bring Superhuman to a higher level.

After the brief meeting, Carter used another Doll to act as Frankenstein. He had told Kaito to prepare a special suit and mask for Frankenstein.

The mask inspired by the Plague Doctor back on us with a long beak and entire face coverings. It was the best way to hide the changes in Frankenstein’s appearance and the similarities with Zeneros Blackburn.

’The Maiden Doll and Invoker Doll are useful but their effect on the skin appearance can be a pain in the ass... I wonder if I can find a way to get a neutral type of doll...’

Carter was thinking about a Human Skin Doll. Human was still the most plain, neutral, and flexible skinline. More so than the other filler skinline like Wolfman or Invoker.

’If I want to do that, I need to find a reliable way to farm Synchronization.’

Carter put his thoughts away for a little bit and arranged the next motion of actions.

He gathered the Invoker inside the Metabolic Institute and taught them the two Mental Arts, Mirror and Primal.

These two Mental Arts could be practiced by anyone, even if they didn’t have the Transcension or Spiritualization Skill. Carter hoped that the Invoker could use these Arts to reach a new level. The current Invoker in Hexilia was still too weak. They would be surpassed by Superhuman soon.

The second Doll, wearing Shadow Apothecary, took a blood sample from Arthur and examined it. However, it couldn’t figure out the reason why Arthur was different.

’The answer isn’t in biology, original.’ The Doll informed Carter.

’Hmm... Wait there. I will come over.’

Carter entered the laboratory and unequipped the Shadow Apothecary skin from the Doll.

Carter equipped the skin himself. With the Transcension and Primal Spiritualization Skill, he could see things far more clearly and may notice something that the Doll may not.

The skinny doctor approached the microscope and examined the blood again. This time, he saw something new.

Human became Superhuman through achieving the Metabolism Manipulation Skill. For all this time, Carter thought that the only way to achieve the skill was to practice it just like any other physical technique.

’This will is almost the opposite of the Corruption in Corrupted Corps. I wonder...’

Carter still had a few corrupted blood in his Brewer’s Chest. He mixed a few drops into Arthur’s blood sample.

The Corruption attacked the blood like it always did. But this time, it failed. The mental power within the blood fought back Corruption like antibodies attacking a disease.

_’Technically speaking, I am not corrupted because I am still human. I only have an aspect of power from Dracula, not his Undead characteristics.

I tried to use Adrenaline before when wearing Dracula or the Eldritch Skeleton Knight. It didn’t work. I thought that it was because they were dead and didn’t have the biological conditions to use it. But it seems like the real answer is that... Adrenaline is the Antidote to Corruption.’_

Carter gently wrote down what he found into the Apothecary Notebook.
