Chapter 207 To pacify external enemies, one must first secure internal stability (Part 2)

As Daphne read out the names and stories of several people offstage, these usually arrogant and domineering "senior students" stood there pale-faced, with only occasional unnatural trembling proving they were still alive. Some of them dared to look at Thea, but her indifferent expression made them even more uneasy.

If Blake knows their names, does that mean... the Dark Lord will find out too? Will she exaggerate or embellish the story? Are they going to be in trouble?

As the last name was called, Thea finally moved. "I'm so sad..."

Everyone involuntarily shuddered. Everyone knew that Blake was a master of feigning grievance before revealing her true feelings. The more wronged she appeared, the more she would pay back to them. This was a principle that countless stubborn predecessors had discovered through trial and error.

And now, the people who made her feel wronged are them—

Given Blake's current expression, what price would they have to pay to quell the other party's anger?

The person whose name was called trembled more and more violently, their mind filled with images of themselves and their families' fate after offending Thea. Fear made them pale, but Thea suddenly laughed.

The laughter in the lounge was like the harbinger of a demon's arrival. The "lucky ones" wished they could bury their heads in the floor so Thea couldn't see them, but to no avail.

"Slytherin, when did you become like this?"

"That's right. Slytherin has never been ashamed of treachery, nor has it ever boasted of its own righteousness. In our eyes, the final victory is the most important thing!"

Do you agree with this?

Thea's voice and tone were as persuasive as ever, and many of the young wizards who hadn't been mentioned immediately chimed in.

"Agreed!"

"We agree!"

"We're not like those stupid lions!"

"Victory is the most important thing!"

The chatter of the young wizards finally stopped when Thea raised her hand to signal them to stop.

"I'm glad there are still quite a few smart people in Slytherin."

Thea's comments made many young wizards blush.

“But!” Thea’s tone suddenly turned serious as she pointed to one of the “lucky ones” whose name had just been called.

"Harold Field!"

Field stared wide-eyed in fear at Thea, whose face was contorted with rage.

The young wizards around him immediately avoided him as if he were a plague, their faces even showing a hint of disgust.

Do you think your actions comply with the Slytherin Code?

Thea's voice froze Field in place like a death knell. He opened his mouth, wanting to argue that he had only "taught a few ignorant kids a small lesson," but looking at Thea's face, he couldn't say anything.

“I know what you’re all resentful about, thinking, ‘It’s just teaching some ignorant kid a lesson, what’s the big deal?’ right?”

The "lucky ones" in the audience shook their heads hastily, and the little wizards who were not called down immediately lowered their heads, afraid that the fire would burn them.

“Field”.

"Tell me, is that what you really think?"

Field did not want to answer.

So Thea asked again.

"You bullied others with your wand, does that mean I can also teach you a lesson with my wand?"

Now Field dared not play dead. He knew clearly that even ten of him combined would not be a match for Thea.

So he chose to bow his head and apologize.

But Thea didn't want to give him that chance.

"Seal the tongue and lock the throat!"

Thea's sudden move stunned many people, but they quickly realized that it would have been strange if Thea had spoken politely the whole time.

Besides, it was clearly Field who broke the rules, so he deserved to be taught a lesson.

With that in mind, the young wizards immediately accepted the fact that Thea had taken action.

Thea also saw through the little wizards' thoughts, and she calmly cast another spell.

"Upside-down kick!"

Field was immediately hung upside down on the wall lamp in the lounge.

"They've all turned to stone!"

Thea continued to add the final step to Field's process.

“I’m actually quite reasonable. If you’re unwilling to follow my rules, then I’ll just have to compromise and follow yours.”

"You believe in the supremacy of the strong, right? Then I will work hard in the future."

"Field seemed to really like those three spells, so I demonstrated them for him. I remember he doesn't have class tomorrow, so let him come down the day after tomorrow! A little wizard won't die from skipping a few meals, right?"

The young wizards below the stage were silent, their eyebrows twitching slightly when they heard Field's punishment, but they quickly regained their composure.

Thea then took the handkerchief from Theodore, carefully wiped her fingers and wand, and then left.

A minute later, the sound of various spells flying around echoed in the lounge.

Ten minutes later, the wall lamps in the lounge were covered with lifelike statues in various poses.

Sigrún has taught at the Iceland University of the Arts as a part-time lecturer since and was Dean of the Department of Fine Art from -. In – she held a research position at Reykjavík Art Museum focusing on the role of women in Icelandic art. She studied fine art at the Icelandic College of Arts and Crafts and at Pratt Institute, New York, and holds BA and MA degrees in art history and philosophy from the University of Iceland. Sigrún lives and works in Iceland.

Thea doesn't have time to pay attention to their confessions right now; she has a lot to do.

"Have the things I asked for been prepared?"

“It’s ready,” Theodore said. “It’s on the table in the conference room.”

"Yes, thank you for your hard work." Thea said casually, but Theodore's ears turned red.

"...It's nothing."

Theodore's shyness went unnoticed by Thea, who was preoccupied with figuring out how to write the next letter.

In the end, she only wrote a few notes and placed them in the packages on the table.

Piles of pounds were haphazardly bundled into a parcel, the recipient being Iris.

"Give those maps of the secret passages to Daisy."

This is my advice to her.

Theodore obediently accepted the thick letter.

"By the way, how's Lovegood doing lately?"

Theodore immediately snapped out of it and said fluently, "She hasn't been acting strangely lately... She's become quite familiar with Potter and the others on the train, and sometimes people have seen them exchange a few words..."

After Theodore finished speaking, Thea waved her hand, "You don't need to pay so much attention to her anymore, as long as no one bullies her anymore."

Theodore's eyebrows twitched. Although he was puzzled as to why Thea had suddenly given up protecting Lovegood, he immediately replied, "Okay."

Because from now on, she'll be on Potter's side.

She is no longer that little girl who was bullied without realizing it; she will become a warrior and point her wand at my heart.
