Chapter 280 Confinement and Care
Chapter 280 Confinement and Care
Thea's recent "restless" behavior naturally did not go unnoticed by those with ulterior motives.
They formed cliques and gathered followers.
If these two terms were applied to a crown prince in ancient China, the final outcome would undoubtedly be that of a deposed crown prince.
Unfortunately, this is not China, nor is it ancient times.
But... does this principle really not apply?
Even social animals suffer death and injury due to power shifts, so how could Death Eaters be an exception?
Many people, harboring ulterior motives, reported Thea's recent actions to Bella. Sure enough, the witch, whose heart and mind were filled with Voldemort, didn't hesitate for a second and immediately got up to go find Voldemort.
The informant hadn't expected things to go so smoothly. Looking at Bella's aggressive actions, he had every reason to believe that if Thea hadn't been absent, Bella might have tied him up and taken him to Voldemort to "apologize."

She studied fine art at the Icelandic College of Arts and Crafts and at Pratt Institute, New York, and holds BA and MA degrees in art history and philosophy from the University of Iceland. "what happened?"
Voldemort lay in a recliner with his eyes half-closed, a few thick books with frayed edges beside him.
Voldemort initially wanted to ignore Bella's request to see him.
These past few days he's been busy verifying his flash of inspiration from that day, wishing he could take out all the books he's read in the first half of his life and reread them all. Where would he find the time to bother with those useless subordinates?
But Bella was different.
She is Thea's mother.
Voldemort was slightly lost in thought as he thought of those dark eyes that were just like his own, yet were often stirred by this 'mother'.
While Voldemort was lost in thought, Bella had already clearly and concisely explained her purpose.
In short: uphold justice even at the cost of family ties.
After hearing Bella's words, Voldemort opened his half-closed eyes.
He never doubted Bella's loyalty to him, or rather, her love.
Although he didn't understand what "love" was, which Dumbledore had championed his whole life, it didn't stop him from using this ethereal concept that seemed so abstract to him.
Bella,
Voldemort leaned slightly towards Bella, and from his angle, he could see every emotion in her eyes.
"Do you want Thea to be punished?"
“…She did something wrong,” Bella paused for two seconds, taken aback by Voldemort’s sudden closeness, but quickly became agitated again, “She should realize her mistake!”
Voldemort stared intently at Bella, not missing a single emotion in her eyes.
In the end, Voldemort concluded that Bella's feelings were genuine, but unfortunately, they were directed at him, not the poor girl.
Bella might consider the "mother-daughter relationship" in other matters, but when Thea's actions posed even the slightest threat to Voldemort, she would definitely be the first to stab Thea in the back.
The thought of those dark eyes becoming expressionless and still filled Voldemort with a sense of anticipation.
"Little Barty".
Suddenly someone answered from outside the door.
"Go to the Ministry of Magic and bring Thea back."
"Yes."
Little Barty didn't hesitate for a second and turned to leave.
When Barty arrived, Thea Olivia Black was sifting through a jumble of scattered messages to gather the information she needed.
She wanted to find the habitat of those amazing animal groups.
The future course of war will inevitably involve them, and Thea must seize the initiative.
When Thea looked up, there was another person in front of her.
Seeing the genuine schadenfreude in Little Barty's eyes, Thea's heart sank, but her face remained calm.
"The master wants to see you."
"it is good."
After quickly packing up the documents that needed to be copied back, Thea skipped work without any qualms.

Even after it ended, Thea hadn't come to her senses.
In his ears was Voldemort's drawn-out voice announcing that he would lose his freedom completely within the next week.
Punishment was completely harmless to Thea; as long as she had a private room, she would have endless things to do.
What she truly felt was punishment was not anything else, but Bella.
Looking at Bella's eyes, which always seemed to follow Voldemort and always shone brightly, Thea suddenly felt a little lost.
Aren't you my mother?
Shouldn't you stand up for me? Even just a single word.
You didn't hesitate for even a second, as if you had never considered the fact that I was your daughter.
As the light in Thea's eyes slowly faded, Voldemort's smile widened.
He absolutely adores this kind of drama where characters turn against each other!
Dumbledore, if you saw this, you would surely agree with me.
There is no such thing as love without a reason in the world. Even the love of parents for their children is nothing more than an exchange of interests wrapped in raising and caring for their children. And this exchange of interests is the ironclad law that will never fade in this world.
------
The room was empty.
Thea had just marked several locations most likely to be home to large gatherings of magical creatures when she heard a knock at the door.
When I opened the door, I found it was someone delivering food.
Thea took the lunchbox and was about to close the door when the people outside took the opportunity to squeeze in.
“…Gella?”
Thea then saw the person hidden in the large black robe.
"Um,"
Gella responded and then fell silent, only giving Thea a thorough once-over with the same tense look one would give a bomb.
After a long pause, he said dryly, "I heard you were put in solitary confinement... I was worried about you..."
"Thank you," Thea smiled slightly, her tone as gentle and kind as ever. "It must have been difficult for you to get in, right?"
"fine,"
Gella casually summarized how she almost got a fatal curse from the guard at the door, and how she was almost scared out of her wits by Nagini after finally getting in.
Thea understood why Gella didn't want to talk about it, so she changed the subject and started asking about what was happening outside.
"How is the Ministry of Magic?"
"Crouch continued his speeches as before, always on the theme of 'We will fight to the last man!', but his speeches were often interrupted by Death Eaters..."
"Percy was recently promoted, and he has started to have access to higher-level classified documents."
"The Division of Fantastic Beasts is doing well. The deputies you promoted before are quite good, and the three-way balance of power is relatively stable."
"Over there with the Auror..."
Gella rambled on about a lot of things, and heaven knows where she got her information from, but Gella didn't say, and Thea wouldn't ask.
"By the way, how long are you going to be locked up this time?"
"If you're locked up for ten days or half a month, I won't be able to stop Draco and the others."
Gellar spoke lightly, as if she were just asking casually.
"He set a timeframe of one week, but I don't know the exact timeframe; it might be longer or shorter."
"Ok."
"Keep an eye on Draco and the others. Don't let them cause any trouble. Make sure they all go to school obediently when school starts. They're still students!"
"understood!"
"besides…………"
Thea lowered her voice slightly, took Gala's hand, and made an "H" shape with her fingers.
"Please keep an eye on them for me."
Now Gella's expression was somewhat complicated. She wanted to ask why, but in the end, she didn't ask anything.
Anyway, she just needs to do what Thea asked her to do.
