Struggling to survive at Hogwarts

Chapter 332 Discharge from the Hospital

Chapter 332 Discharge from the Hospital

Two days before Thea's engagement party, Voldemort sent word that, after skipping a bunch of formalities, Thea received only one order: return to Riddle House and become Theodore Nott's fiancée.

Regardless of Gella's anger upon seeing the "handwritten letter," Theodore, who delivered the letter, also lost all color in his face in an instant.

"west...Xia, don't look at this...I didn't...I really...wanted to help you—"

Theodore's pale and weak words were ultimately lost in Thea's calm and composed eyes.

"Go back and rest first; you don't look well."

Thea gently comforted him, and that was the truth. Judging from Theodore's current expression, he was in no way inferior to Thea on the sickbed.

"But...you..."

Theodore frowned, instinctively worried about Thea, but was eventually dragged away by Gala.

Who was in charge of security that day?

“Little Barty, and the Carlo siblings, will be in charge of the manor's perimeter, the banquet hall, and—you, respectively.”

When he said the last word, Gallat emphasized it.

"ha,"

Thea gave a short, low laugh, then said sarcastically, "Do you think he guessed I was unwilling to give up, so he specially sent another madman to guard me?"

“He doesn’t even believe Bella.”

"How funny."

Thea was smiling, but Gella next to her couldn't smile at all. She moved her lips, but in the end, she could only change the subject.

"What if he really gets suspicious?"

"Suspicion breeds ghosts. If he really suspects me, then everything I do will be wrong."

Thea looked indifferent, paused for a moment, and continued, "Besides, I didn't do anything, so who can find fault with me?"

Yes Yes Yes.

You really didn't do anything.

It was nothing more than releasing a few pieces of seemingly true but actually false information, such as the number of villages ravaged by Death Eaters expanding again, and how many more "loyal and righteous" men had died in the Riddle Dungeon...

These rumors, once they got out, were enough to make the Order of the Phoenix grit their teeth in hatred. At this critical juncture, news emerged that an engagement banquet would be held, one that would allow numerous Death Eater leaders to attend openly and without question.

Would Porter not be tempted?

Will not.

I know him; he's stubborn and loyal, and he won't let this opportunity slip by.

The soft sunlight streamed through the window, casting shadows on her drooping eyelashes that resembled those of a dying goose.

"Keep an eye on someone for me."

Gella tenderly turned her ear closer, and Thea's lips moved slightly near her ear, the two so close that Thea could almost kiss the downy hairs on Gella's ear.

Neither of the two people present noticed this.

Finally, their intimacy ended with Gella's slightly surprised expression.

Why him?

I thought you would choose Batistuta.

"Heavenly secrets cannot be revealed."

Thea smiled, and the smug look on a child's face, a result of a successful prank, caught Gella's eye.

Strangely enough, it was just an ordinary laugh, but Gella remembered it for many years.

The reason for this is probably just two words—rare and precious.

The next morning, Gella got up very early, but when she pushed open the door to Thea's hospital room, she was surprised to see this scene before her:

Thea was dressed warmly, in a long skirt, coat, cape, and boots, yet she sat on the windowsill with her feet dangling outside, her long skirt fluttering in the wind, looking incredibly beautiful.

Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Gella push the door open and come in. She even waved to Gella happily and said she was happy to share the morning view by the window with her.

Gella only paused for a moment before smiling and walking over.

"They really know how to enjoy life."

She playfully tapped Thea's forehead, scolding her but acting boldly, and then Thea's hand climbed onto the windowsill.

"call--"

Gella took a deep breath and then let out a long sigh of relief.

"Right, right? I told you it's comfortable to sit like this!"

"not bad!"

Gella smiled and praised him, then added with a hint of regret.

"I wish what we're seeing right now wasn't the sunrise, but the Big Bang!"

"That's right!"

Thea nodded quickly.

"If half the world's population died tomorrow, that would be great! As for me? I don't care which half I'm in!!!"

What a beautiful state of mind!

The two men were going crazy by the window, while someone else trembled at the door, fearing that the two madmen inside might suddenly label him as one of the "half of the people who will die tomorrow."

Only after Thea had gone crazy enough did she pull Gella down from the windowsill.

"Um?!"

As soon as she came down, Thea almost fell flat on her face because her legs were numb. Fortunately, Gala was quick and grabbed Thea's sleeve.

"Thorn-"

With a sharp tearing sound, the ribbon decoration on Thea's sleeve was ruined.

"that………"

"If I said I didn't do it on purpose, would you believe me?"

Gella held up the ribbon, looking rather flustered, and could only manage an awkward smile at Thea.

Thea: "…………"

What else could Thea do?

I can only get a new coat.

Then, another round of Gella volunteered recommendations, but Thea refused without hesitation.

After the two finished their work, Thea was also exhausted. It was only then that Thea had time to turn her gaze to the "third person" present.

After looking her up and down for a while, Thea appeared sincere, but her words were perfunctory.

"Sorry, it took a little longer to pack up."

"It's alright, it's alright!"

The unlucky guy whose name was called immediately bowed to show his respect, and his trembling and fearful actions amused Gella.

"Let's go?"

"Okay!"

As they exchanged words, the two walked out, followed by the unlucky fellow who kept wiping the cold sweat from his brow.
