The shieldbearers were endowed with the strongest defensive and magical resistance abilities by Levin. Their large shields could even withstand blast spells. Their duty was to protect the wizard and serve as the last line of defense in front of the wizard.
The Guardian is the standard version of the Iron Golem, typically wielding a small to medium-sized shield in one hand and a medium-sized weapon, such as a longsword, longsword, or short spear, in the other. They can also dual-wield medium or short weapons.
They are capable of both offense and defense, and their functions are very versatile, making them the choice in most situations.
The Golem Breaker is the only one without a shield. It has the weakest defense and magic resistance, but it is equipped with the strongest heavy weapons, such as spears, halberds, axes, greatswords, etc. These weapons are usually given the effect of breaking magic.
Compared to other golem models, the Breaker Golem abandons most of its defenses but is endowed with offensive capabilities. Ordinary [Ironclad Spell] cannot stop them at all, making them excellent at charging into battle.
These three golems are the three basic designs by Levin, and various modifications can be made to them.
For example, equipping it with stronger weapons to enable it to deal with stronger enemies;
Enhances magic resistance; enchants the entire body with an [Anti-Magic Field], allowing it to block most spells without the need for a shield.
It has the ability to automatically recover, and can automatically recover no matter how damaged it is, as long as the core is not damaged.
It can even undergo external armor modification, enabling it not only to act independently but also to transform into powered armor, like Iron Man's armor, enveloping its wearer and providing a range of functions including power and defense.
The above sounds fancy, but in reality, Levin's golem only has one problem.
That's too expensive.
Levin repeatedly cut features from the three basic Iron Golem models.
All those so-called modifications are actually the abilities that Levin envisions the golem should possess.
However, in order to save costs, it had to be cancelled.
Even so, the cost of one golem is around 1500 gallons.
If you're selling them, they'll cost at least 2500 Gallons each.
Such a golem is a huge sum of money, considering that most wizards typically earn only a couple hundred galleons a month.
Levin didn't even know if the Auror office could be bought.
In the end, Jaina made the decision: "You manufacture a batch first, and I'll rent them in my personal capacity and assign them to Tonks' squad. Once the chaos of this World Cup sets in and the golems demonstrate sufficiently strong performance, I can then purchase them in the name of the Ministry of Magic."
Levin also thought it was a good idea, so he created twenty steel golems and handed them over to Jaina to deal with.
Research and work always bring a new vitality to life.
In the garden, long tables were arranged in an orderly fashion, like winding dragons. Onyxia had prepared a sumptuous feast. The exquisite pastries, candies, and various delicacies glittered in the sunlight, each exuding an enticing aroma that made one's mouth water.
As time passed and the time for the gathering drew closer, the young wizards arrived as promised.
Immersed in the magnificent estate, their respect and admiration for Levin deepened.
Just before the banquet was about to begin, Levin stepped onto the specially erected podium.
He cleared his throat: "[Illusory Sound Spell]"
The magic made his voice echo in every corner of the garden, as if whispering in everyone's ear.
He said warmly, “Welcome everyone! This beautiful manor will become our gathering place from now on. We will uphold the spirit of mutual assistance and benefit, and actively build a platform for communication for everyone. Even after leaving Hogwarts and entering society, we will continue to support each other and progress together. Cheers to knowledge and truth!”
After saying this, he raised his glass to toast the crowd below.
Everyone raised their glasses and sat up straighter.
At the banquet, Ms. Gianna Proudmore made an elegant appearance, followed closely by Ms. Nymphadora Tonks and Ms. Cattrana Presto.
Levin introduced the graduates to them, and Ciri and Hermione also introduced them to others.
Jaina knew perfectly well that these young wizards were trying to curry favor with her, but she didn't put on airs as the deputy director of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. Instead, she acted as Levin's older sister, behaving very kindly and amiably, holding a wine glass and chatting warmly with the young wizards.
Tonks and Katlana also warmly interacted with the young wizards, their attitude full of sincerity and enthusiasm.
When Levin left the banquet, the young wizards were filled with respect and affection for Jaina, Tonks, and Katrana, praising them highly.
The most outstanding among these individuals will either become fresh blood for the Aurors or become new forces in other departments of the Ministry of Magic.
However, amidst this lively occasion, Penelope sat alone on a bench in the courtyard.
She used to be the organizer of various activities of the Erudite Society, but now she is detached from the banquets.
Her sheer dress swayed in the summer night breeze, her fair legs and delicate ankles swinging freely.
She looked thoughtfully at Levin, who was chatting and laughing in the crowd, and then at Ciri, whose eyes were full of impatience.
Her delicate brows furrowed slightly, and a glint of light flickered in her eyes.
The banquet had reached its climax, and the warm air was filled with laughter, conversation, and the clinking of cutlery against cups and plates.
However, the excitement belongs to them.
Penelope felt empty inside; she felt like she had nothing at that moment.
Finally, after Levin finished his speech once again, the banquet came to an end.
All the young wizards stood up and politely bid farewell to the host of the banquet.
With their departure, the entire manor fell into a brief silence.
After seeing off the last little wizard, Levin walked into the courtyard and immediately spotted the beautiful girl sitting on the bench.
She wore a blue tulle dress with silver ribbons. A gentle breeze blew, and the dress swayed, its folds shimmering in the sunlight.
A pair of long, sparkling blue crystal earrings hung from her ears, dangling from her flowing curls and swaying gracefully with her light breaths, making her face appear even more radiant and dazzling, and making her look even more petite and adorable than usual.
“Levin, would you like to take a walk around the manor?” Penelope Crivate invited.
“Me?” Levin was a little surprised. “I thought you were going to invite Cirira.”
Upon hearing this name, Penelope frowned again. "Are you going to accept or not?"
Levin didn't answer, but looked into the girl's eyes, extended his hand, and made his stance clear.
Penelope grabbed his hand and let him help her down from the swing.
The moonlight, as clear as water, bathed the manor, bringing a sense of tranquility.
“I’ll be attending Auror training tomorrow,” Penelope suddenly said.
“I know, Cirihong will go with you,” Levin replied casually.
Penelope's tone became more intense again: "Can't you just not mention her at a time like this?"
"What, I thought you two were good friends." Levin was a little surprised by Penelope's behavior tonight.
“Of course we’re good friends!” Penelope said, a hint of annoyance in her voice. “That’s precisely why I don’t want you to mention her.”
After saying that, she stared straight at Levin, "Why you of all people!"
Levin did not respond immediately, but he understood what the other person meant.
The two walked silently through the garden.
After walking side by side for about ten minutes, as they began their third tour of the garden, Penelope finally spoke:
"Send me away," she said calmly.
“Okay, I’ll take you.” Levin looked up slightly at Penelope, his eyes filled with sincerity.
The two walked towards the manor gate.
Even though it was less than a hundred meters, they walked slower and slower.
"Why you of all people?" Penelope whispered. "Before I met you, I always thought I liked girls... but why you of all people?"
Levin silently took her hand. He felt the girl's soft hand tremble slightly, but she did not pull away.
No matter how slowly you walk, you'll finish the 100-meter distance quickly.
The two arrived at the door.
"See you tomorrow then." Levin waved.
“It’s already today,” Penelope said playfully, leaning forward slightly.
“Is that so?” Levin sighed softly.
“Yes!” Penelope laughed happily.
“Well then, see you later.” Levin’s voice was particularly moving in the night.
"Don't oversleep," Penelope said sweetly.
“I’ll set the alarm,” Levin said.
"Put on your pajamas," Penelope instructed.
"Brush your teeth." Levin nodded with a smile.
“Cover yourself in the blanket.” Penelope glanced at Levin’s eyes.
"Sweet dreams." Levin looked back at Penelope, their eyes filled with deep affection.
"Will you... come into my dreams?" Penelope asked softly, arms crossed.
“I will come,” Levin replied with a smile and a deep voice. “I remember a spell called [Dream Casting].”
"Don't mention magic at a time like this!" Penelope said coquettishly.
"You're great in every way, and it's quite romantic to see you and Ciri Ra together... but you can't mention magic."
"Sorry, it was just an instinctive reaction." Levin scratched his head sheepishly.
There was another moment of silence.
"Goodbye!" Penelope waved goodbye to Levin.
"Goodbye." Levin also extended his hand.
Neither of them wanted to turn around, so they waved and backed away.
"Good night!" Penelope said with a smile.
"Don't oversleep!" Levin called out.
“I already mentioned that,” Penelope said with a smile.
"Really? Then have a good dream."
“I’ve already said that,” Penelope said, tossing her long hair playfully.
"Is that so?" Levin was still smiling, showing no embarrassment whatsoever.
